Gas furnace efficiency is measured based on the Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency ratings, (AFUE). The higher the percentage the more efficient the unit. This furnace delivers 95.1 AFUE (Annual Fuel Usage Efficiency). Older furnaces may deliver as low as 50-60% efficiency.
